Marlene Nowensky

Who is Marlene:
Marlene has been in the travel industry for over 30 years.  She was a corporate agent for her first 15 years, then switched to leisure travel.  She does a lot of customized travel in Europe and sun packages to Mexico and the Caribbean.  She is a wedding destination specialist with Destination Vows website and books several wedding groups and honeymoons every year, which she really enjoys.  She is also well versed in international airfares and combining airfare with land arrangements to make a personalized travel experience for her clients.  Marlene would like to travel to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific in general and visit several more wedding destination resorts.

What are Marlene’s TOP 5 travel experiences:

  • A Mediterranean cruise to Turkey, Greece, Italy, France and Spain
  • Climbing up the Acropolis, walking through the Colosseum and looking up at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, just like in the movies!
  • Vacationing in Barbados staying in a house, exploring the island and going to the beach every day
  • Danube River cruise where we visited Budapest, the Melk Abbey and my favourite European city, Prague
  • Climbing rock formations in Portugal and exploring the whole country; visiting Seville and the Moors Castle in Sintra; hiking up the cobbled street to the Monastery Pena and enjoying the wine region in Giro

What is Marlene’s closing comment:
Just enjoy life, and travel as much as you can.  See the world!
