Day 1: Winnipeg - Churchill

Arrival in Churchill, Manitoba, the Polar Bear capital of the world. Get an opportunity to get up close and personal with Polar Bears and other arctic wildlife via specially designed arctic tundra vehicles.

Day 2: Embark cruise ship - Hudson Bay

Embark on Ocean Atlantic and cruise into Hudson Bay.

Day 3: Marble Island - Rankin Inlet

Marble island and Rankin Inlet – Opportunity to view Beluga whales in the shallow bays of Marble Island and tour of the hamlet of Rankin  Inlet.

Day 4: Coats Island

Coats Island. Opportunity to view the migratory birds and other wildlife on the island.

Day 5: Cape Dorset

Cape Dorset, Inuit Art Centre.

Day 6: Hudson Strait

Cruising into Hudson Strait.

Day 7: Akpatok Island

Akpatok island. Opportunity to view migratory birds and other wildlife on the island.

Day 8 & 9: At sea crossing Davis Strait

At sea, crossing Davis Strait. Lectures on Arctic subjects.

Day 10: Arrive Greenland - visit Uummannaq

Town and island of Uummannaq below the heart-shaped mountain.

Day 11: Eqip Sermia Glacier

Eqip Sermia Glacier, opportunity to view icebergs calving from the largest glacier outside Antarctica.

Day 12: Ilulissat

Ilulissat. Walk to the Sermermiut plain and the Icefjord. (optional helicopter flight and boat tours)

Day13: Sisimuit

Town of Sisimiut. Town walk and lecture about colonial Greenland. Tasting of local dishes. (optional excursion package).

Day 14: Kangerlussuaq - Depart Greenland

Kangerlussuaq. Disembark from your expedition ship and board your flight back to Canada.
