Day 1: Depart home city - London

Today the group meets up at your home city’s airport and together on an overnight flight bound for London, England.

Day 2: London

Arrive in London. Transfer from the airport to London city center and enjoy a guided city tour. In the afternoon you will visit the Tower of London. It is by far one of the most famous and well preserved historical buildings in the world. It was first built in 1078 by William the Conqueror (1066-1087) and was completed by William II who was tragically killed by Walter Tyrell in a hunting accident in the New Forest. During the history of the Towers it has been a palace, prison, treasury, zoo and arsenal. Did you know that the Crown Jewels are also housed in the tower? Check in at the hotel.

Day 3: London

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you pay a visit to the Imperial War Museum, which has been redeveloped as the museum is transformed to mark the centenary of the First World War. Next you visit the original Churchill Cabinet War Rooms, the wartime bunker that sheltered Churchill and his government during the Blitz. Explore the rooms to experience the secret history that lives underground. Finish the day with a visit to the British Museum. It’s home to one of the world’s great collections of treasures from ancient civilizations and is also London’s best loved museum

Day 4: Bath - Cambridge

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will enjoy a full day excursion to Bath and Cambridge. Explore both of these beautiful cities on your own.

Day 5: Windsor Castle

Breakfast at the hotel. It’s going to be a Royal day as you will go to the Windsor Castle today. Windsor Castle is one of three official residences of The Queen and has been home to the Sovereign for over 900 years. The Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation. Accompanied by a guide you will see the state apartments, St. George’s Chapel, where so many of the Kings and Queens living quarters and where the Doll House and the Queens doll collection are located. In the afternoon we go back to London for some free time.

Day 6: Oxford

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will take the train to Oxford. A first glance shows that it is unique, with mellow beauty and architectural elegance crowned by the glory of the dreaming spires. This distinguished flagship of academic excellence is a hotbed of creative energy, a youthful go-ahead city that feels as good as it looks. Oxford is simply buzzing with chic restaurants, bistros and bars, traditional pubs and attractions and a lively and ever-growing cultural scene that has earned the coveted title of Centre of Culture in 2008. Spend the day in  Oxford and will take the train back to London in the afternoon.

Day 7: London

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast visit Westminster Abbey with a local guide. Here the royalties are Christened, married and buried. Every day at 11:30 am there is the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Enjoy the 45 minute ceremony, filled with pomp and circumstance. After the visit we will go to the place to be for shopping and entertainment also knows as ‘West End’. Here you can spend some time to enjoy your lunch on your own. In the afternoon we will bring a guided visit to the St. Paul’s Cathedral. Sir Christopher Wren’s mighty cathedral draws the eye like nothing else in London, even though the City’s skyscrapers tower above it. The centrepiece of the great reconstruction of London after the great fire in 1666, it is still the spiritual focus of Great Britain.

Day 8: London

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will enjoy a guided Jack the Ripper tour. In the afternoon we will visit the British Science Museum. See, touch and experience the major scientific advances of the last 300 years. More than 40 galleries filled with the world’s finest collections in the history of science, technology and medicine. Enjoy your free afternoon on your own.

Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant. When darkness sets in we will go to the London Eye for a 30 minute slow-moving flight over London.

Overnight in London.

Day 9: York

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from London to York. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore York on your own.

Day 10: Edinburgh

After breakfast transfer from York to Edinburgh. On arrival enjoy a guided tour of Edinburgh and end the day with a visit to the Brittania Yacht, once used exclusively by the Royal Family.

Day 11: Edinburgh

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit Edinburgh Castle for a guided tour. Enjoy the views from the castle, looking over the city below. The rest of the day is at leisure. to wander along the Royal Mile with it’s shops and cafes.

Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 12: Depart from Edinburgh

After breakfast at the hotel the group will be transferred to Edinburgh airport to catch your flight home.
