About Clayton
I have been in the travel industry since 2015. I was inspired to work in the industry after spending a year travelling in New Zealand. I currently specialize in northern destinations such as Churchill and Iceland, but I am happy to help anyone make their travel dreams a reality anywhere in the world.
How I travel
I prefer longer trips in fewer destinations — spending a few weeks in one place rather than a few days in many. I enjoy walking and exploring a destination, and I think the best way to see a place is by walking it.

What I love most
My favourite part of travelling is the exploration. The idea of finding out the differences in cultures and what can be learned from visiting a new place with a different way of doing things. Seeing sights that are vastly different to where I am from, and meeting people who are excited to share their culture with me.

A memorable journey — Iceland, 2024
Iceland is truly a magical place, a landscape like no other, and the first time I saw it I was blown away. It had been on my bucket list since 2008, when I saw it in a book I was reading about places to see before you die.
Its other-worldly scenery is fascinating as you drive from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik — it looks like you have landed on another planet. That's just the beginning: with its endless waterfalls, glaciers and landscapes there is something incredible around every corner.
What I learned: this set me on a path to become a specialist in custom Iceland trips. Whether it's a short city stay or a multi-day road trip around the entire island, I can tailor the trip to what each client wants to experience.
