Seismic Activity in Iceland
On the 20th of August the National Crisis Coordination Center closed and evacuated the area North of Vatnajökull Glacier, following the seismic activities in Bárðarbunga caldera in the last days. For up to date information on the volcanic activity please visit the Icelandic Met Office website.
GCTC is monitoring the situation with the Bárðarbunga volcano closely and if your travel plans are disrupted, we will work in co-operation with the airlines and partners in Iceland to re-accommodate our clients.
