Arrive any time today to Winnipeg and transfer on your own to the Inn at the Forks, located at the historic Forks, where the Red and Assiniboine Rivers meet. The Canadian Museum of Human Rights and the Manitoba Children’s Museum are both located here, definitely worth a visit if time permits. Free time to explore the Forks National Heritage Site before dinner and an evening meet & greet hosted by your Interpretive Guide.

Today you’ll be treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Assiniboine Park Zoo’s Journey to Churchill exhibit. Later you’ll have free time to explore downtown Winnipeg. Overnight at Inn at the Forks hotel.

Transfer from the hotel to Winnipeg airport to catch your early morning flight to Churchill. On arrival you’ll be picked up from the airport and taken on a Churchill town and area tour, followed by an always exciting dog sledding and interpretive program. Enjoy a pizza dinner and bowling with the Junior Rangers this evening. Overnight at a Churchill hotel.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Tundra Buggy™ launch site where we will board our Tundra Buggy™ and set off to explore in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Our knowledgeable Tundra Buggy™ driver will navigate throughout the WMA in search of polar bears and other arctic wildlife such as foxes, hares, Snowy Owls and ptarmigan. A delicious lunch will be served right out on the Tundra Buggy™. Return to town for overnight.

Today we’ll visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre where displays highlight the local arctic wildlife and the Polar Bears International House, to learn about these magnificent animals. Some family recreation activities and a Yurt experience follow, then back to the hotel for overnight.

Enjoy a second day of exploring the Churchill Wildlife Management Area (WMA) on the Tundra Buggy™ with a knowledgeable driver to guide you. This evening after dinner you will be transferred to the Churchill airport for your flight south to Winnipeg. Check in to your hotel near the Winnipeg airport.
