This is a sample of a group trip to Japan that we arranged for one of our clients, including visits to Toyko, Hakone, Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima. The itinerary is for informational purposes, to give you an idea of what can be included in a special group tour in Japan. Today the group meets up at your home city’s airport and travel together on an overnight flight bound for Tokyo, Japan.
Meals as indicated, B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner
Konnichiwa! Meet your English‐speaking assistant from the tour company outside the arrival gate. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Tokyo.
Today, you will being your journey in Japan with a sightseeing tour of Tokyo. You will see the Shibuya District & the statue of Hachiko, the Meiji Jinju Shring, the Harajuku & Omotesando District, the Tokyo City View Observatory, and the National Art Centre.
There will be a welcome to Japan group dinner at a local restaurant and then a transfer back to the hotel for a good night’s rest.

Today we visit Ueno Park to enjoy the atmosphere of cherry trees blooming. We will continue on to the Tokyo National Museum and the Asakusa Kannon Temple with its lovely Nakamise shopping Arcade.
Lunch is on your own today, but we’ll take you to Kappabashi to sample the many different food shops. You will transfer back to the hotel in the late afternoon and spend the rest of your evening at leisure.

After breakfast, your guide and chartered coach will take you to visit the Tsukiji Outer Market where you will experience sushi making!
Stroll in Ginza, a popular upscale shopping area of Tokyo, with numerous internationally‐renowned department store boutiques, restaurants and coffeehouses located in its vicinity.
You need not feel rushed to go back to the hotel this afternoon. Spend the afternoon at leisure and jump on public transportation back to the hotel when ready. The local train takes about 20 minutes and is a great experience.

Today we move on to Hakone. Your luggage will be transported separately by chartered truck to Kyoto, so you should prepare an overnight pack for your stay!
When you arrive, you will begin your sightseeing of Kawaguchiko. We will have lunch included today at HOTO, which offers amazing local cuisine of this area.
You will check into your hotel; a Ryokan, a traditional Japanese Inn. This evening we’ll enjoy a hot spring and a full course Japanese dinner complete with a Kimono Robe!

Board your bullet train this morning for Kyoto. After a local lunch, we will visit Nijo Castle where we will experience a Tea Ceremony at a Japanese Temple.
Enjoy an evening stroll in Gion district and savour your dinner on your own. We will take you back to the hotel in the evening.

Today is a full day of sightseeing in Kyoto. You will visit the Sanjisangendo Temple, the Kiyomizu Temple, the Tenryuji Tempel with Sagano Bamboo Forest, and the Nishiki Shijo.
You will return to the hotel at 6pm and spend the remainder of your evening at your leisure.

This morning we will visit the Fushimi Inrari Shrine and the Gekkeikan Okura Museum. You will return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure.

Today we visit Nara, the capital of Japan’s Nara Prefecture, in south‐central Honshu. The city has significant temples and artwork dating back to the 8th century, when it was Japan’s capital. Nara Park, where deer roam free, is the site of Tohai‐ji Temple.
You will be transferred to the Higashimuki area for lunch, followed by a visit to Asuka Village to learn about the culture and meet some of the locals.
You will be transferred back to your hotel to spend the remainder of your evening at leisure.

We will hop on the bullet train today on route to Hiroshima. Note: Luggage will be shipped to Osaka by truck. Please have your overnight bag packed and with you for your stay at Hiroshima.
Enjoy a full six hours of sightseeing in Hiroshima and Miyajima. You will visit the Peace Memorial Park & Museum and take a ferry to see the Itsukishima Jingu Shrine in Mayajima.
You will be transferred back to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast, you will meet your local guide and visit the Hiroshima Castle and Shukukei-en. There will be time for lunch at Hondori.
This afternoon, you will board the bullet train to Shin-Osaka. You will stop at the hotel briefly so you can refresh before dining at a local restaurant with a Geiko and Maiko performance.

Transfer to the Osaka airport and board your flight home. It’s time to say good-bye to Japan, until next time!
