Private Touring in Havana

We booked an All-Inclusive package to Varadero and everyone was telling us to make sure we visit Havana! We are very interested travelers, and have lots of questions. We like learning about the people, the economy and history of a place, and sometimes like to have a guide all to ourselves! We booked a private tour for a day trip to Havana. We booked this prior to leaving Canada, however with the government restrictions, we were unable to pre-pay it, we needed to pay cash (either USD or Cuban pesos – USD preferred) on the tour day.

Nice, France in Two Days

Edmonton to France is a long way to go for two days, but fortunately KLM is lovely so the flights were actually a great part of the trip. The connection in Amsterdam was about five hours outbound, six hours on the return; long enough to run into the city. However, Amsterdam’s airport, Schipol, is almost a destination unto itself, offering many shops and restaurants to fill time between flights. A Scenic River Cruise

The all-inclusive nature of the Scenic program, while sometimes more expensive than lines like Avalon and Viking is extremely attractive. You could literally leave your wallet at home. You are never looking for small change to tip coach drivers/guides, etc. (it’s all included). No one has their hand out and service is paramount. This is also why I like Uniworld and Tauck as they operate on the same basis.
